Please join us for Choral Evensong on Sunday, March 6 at 4 pm. With its roots in the ancient monastic tradition, this meditative, early evening service is centered around the singing of a significant portion from the Psalms, as well as the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis. The service is sung mostly by the choir, with the congregation joining in hymns and prayers. The anthem at this service is a setting of Spem in alium by Nick Lombardelli, a member of our choir and talented composer and jazz musician.
Currently, the city of Philadelphia mandates mask use in indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. For those unable to attend, it will also be live streamed on the church’s website.
