Children
First Presbyterian invites children ages 2-to-10 years old to join us for Sunday School after our Celebration! Service from 9:50-10:30 AM in Old Buttonwood Hall. We read Bible stories, make crafts, and learn about how to share Christ’s love to the world. We will primarily be using curriculum from Godly Play, which explores stories from the Old and New Testament using play-based story-telling.
Parents are invited to fill out our 2024-2025 Sunday School Registration Form during the first few weeks of Children’s Sunday School so we can best care for your kids in class.
A nursery for infants and toddlers is staffed from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM each Sunday. The Nursery is located on the Lower Level of the main church building, accessible from either the 21st Street or Walnut Street entrances. Our friendly nursery staff are CPR-certified and background checked. We follow child to staff ratios in accordance with Pennsylvania state mandates.
